What unique footage does StormStock offer?

StormStock is the first stock footage source to produce and license 16K video content. StormStock is also the only source in the world to offer Hurricane Katrina making landfall on 4K (Super 35mm film to 4K video).

What video formats does StormStock shoot on?

StormStock currently shoots 4K, 8K, and 16K video with archived content shot on standard-def, HD and Super 35mm film.

Is 16K video real?

Yes. Prairie Pictures’ producer and StormStock founder Martin Lisius developed a 16K video camera system in 2018. StormStock is the first stock footage source in the world to offer 16K video content.
