Prairie Pictures’ StormStock becomes world’s only source for Hurricane Katrina footage on 4K

Prairie Pictures announced that it has transferred Super 35mm footage of Hurricane Katrina in-progress to 4K video. The content was filmed by cinematographer Martin Lisius in late August 2005 and transferred to UHD 4K by Colorlab in Maryland. Lisius braved 100 mph winds to capture record-breaking storm surge and a high water rescue search. Combined, it is one of the most dramatic collections of hurricane footage ever recorded.
