Megaband U2 to rock StormStock at the Sphere in Las Vegas

One of the most popular music groups of all time, the Irish rock band U2, will be using content from Prairie Pictures’ StormStock in a video presentation during their upcoming limited concert engagement “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere.”

25 shots from StormStock including dramatic tornadoes, lightning, and hurricanes, will appear during the concerts which take place at the Sphere in Las Vegas from September 29 through December 16, 2023. “We’re thrilled that a world-changing group of artists like U2 would be interested in the content we produce,” said StormStock filmmaker and founder Martin Lisius. “We know that it will certainly add drama to their performances at Sphere.”

U2 has sold over 150 million records worldwide, won 22 Grammy Awards, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility in 2005. Their album “Achtung Baby” has sold over 18 million copies since it was released in 1991. Tickets to “U2:UV” can be purchased from the Sphere website.
