StormStock is not a stock image agency.  It is a production unit of Prairie Pictures, Inc. founded in 1993 by cinematographer and producer Martin Lisius.

We produce high quality imagery on premium formats, including Super 35mm and HD video, for film, TV and print projects that require only the very best content.  Our specialty is storms.  The StormStock collection features rare and exclusive views of hurricanes, lightning, tornadoes, stormy skies, blizzards, stormy seas, climate change and other dramatic natural events. Our images are licensed for use in broadcast, theatrical, TV commercials, corporate video productions, print advertising, periodicals and other publications.

Since we produce our own material, we are able to maintain the quality of our product from creation to delivery. We possess an intimate knowledge of our collection and can quickly locate and deliver the best possible imagery to our clients.
